PROCESSING TIME & SHIPPING

Shipping timelines are subject to the unique nature and craftsmanship of each piece. Most of our pieces are made to order and can take up to 3 weeks to complete, while other items are in stock and ready to ship within 48 hours.

We work with DHL Express to offer easy international delivery. You'll receive your order within 3 to 5 working days of dispatch. We process and ship orders Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm GMT.

We will ship your order from our studio in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire directly to your doorstep.

Please be aware that the processing time is separate from the delivery time listed at checkout. If you don't receive a shipping notification after 14 business days have passed, please send an email to SUPPORT@AFRIDAAVECPLAISIR.COM for assistance.

We reserve the right to cancel orders due to worldwide shipping restrictions. We will always notify you if this cancellation occurs. 

AFRIDA is not responsible for packages once they have been scanned and marked as delivered.

CUSTOMS & IMPORT DUTIES

If a product is being shipped to you from another country, your local government may charge customs and import duties. These extra fees are the responsibility of the buyer, and they can be as much as 20-40% of the total cost of the order. Afrida is not responsible for delays due to customs.



RETURNS POLICY

If you are not happy with your order we are there for you.

Afrida accepts returns on regular priced items that meet the following requirements:

  1. Return is initiated and mailed back by the customer within 14 days of delivery date.
  2. The returned items comply with our returns policy:

All products must be returned in new and unused condition, in perfect condition, with all protective materials in place and the AFRIDA tags attached (if applicable). This includes all packaging, accessories and dust bags. We reserve the right not to accept any return if the product shows signs of wear or has been used or altered from its original condition or, alternatively, may reduce the amount of any refund accordingly.

For example, we may make a reduction in the following circumstances:

  • the product(s) have been used, worn, damaged or washed;
  • the AFRIDA tag is not attached to the product(s) or has not been returned. Please note that the AFRIDA tags constitute an integral part of each product; and/or
  • you have not returned any packaging which is considered an integral part of a product (such as a dust bag).
  • You will be informed if we propose to reduce your refund for this reason. In this instance, you may (as an alternative to us providing you with a reduced refund) choose to have the products sent back to you at your own expense.

    Customized products, tailored to your specifications, are exempt from returns. Once an order is placed, it enters production based on your specific measurements and preferences. We do not accept returns or exchanges for made-to-measure items unless they are defective or damaged upon receipt.

     

    REFUNDS

    All eligible returns will be issued in FCFA. You will be responsible for the cost of return shipping, therefore this will be deducted from your refund. 


    Exceptions include faulty items. If you would like to return a defective product, you must notify us no later than 7 days after delivery. No returns will be accepted if you fail to notify us within the 7 day period or fail to ship the product back to us within 30 days after the product was shipped.


    We have made every effort to display the colors of our products as accurately as possible on our website. However, because computer monitors, tablets and mobile devices vary, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of a color will be completely accurate.



    INITIATING A RETURN

    We gladly accept returns that meet our policy. Please email us at SUPPORT@AFRIDAAVECPLAISIR.COM with your order number in the subject line to submit your return request, and receive your pre-paid shipping label from our Customer Service. You are responsible for repackaging and shipping the item on time. Afrida is not responsible for any packages that are lost in transit.
